Not trying to act holier than thou. I never did MSQ Roulette before this patch, and I'm certainly not going to after. I'm not sure if there is a real way to incentivize people to help newbies, but this roulette system sure ain't it.
It's not that people don't care about new players, it's the unnecessary time extension of the duty that a lot of people have gripe over. CM and Prae have well over 40+ minutes of cutscenes, that's probably including the credits and all after beating Prae, and now you're going to be forced to sit through all of those cutscenes again because of people wanting immersion. So it becomes a serious time constraint for those who were looking to just get it done and over with.

What happens if a person goes afk while in the middle of a cutscene? This was the whole reason why we got auto kick and was able to skip those cutscenes in the first place, because people were going afk and abusing such a system. I remember not even being able to so much as run CM because people were queuing up and afking at the opening cutscene for the sake of trolling. So this is so much of a step backwards than forwards and seems more like SE thinking money first, since this'll force more players to just buy story jump potions instead.
