Gotta admit, I was more saddened by the fact I wouldn't have a high enough ilvl to do Savage and Extreme on release day (why I wish Savage had been delayed so we could properly gear for it without rushing), but looking deeper, some of these changes are really ehh? I'm just putting up thoughts as they come to mind.

This MSQ roulette change basically ensures I'll never do it. There's no reward for doing so, not even the smallest hint of mendacity tomes. I guess this means no alts in my future unless I can jump potion them, because this will really hurt the queue times. Heaven help anyone who's a DPS in ARR. I feel really bad for anyone new playing the game. I hope not being able to get through MSQ won't dissuade them from continuing.

The SMN changes reinforced why I ditched the class for BRD. I don't see myself going back to SMN ever again and that was my main class up until the end of Stormblood. However, I do love the change to SCH. Can't tell you how many times Excog got wasted in dungeons. Stacks are a precious commodity, haha. The only other thing I want from SCH is fairy adjustment (seriously, why the delay on Whispering Dawn or the outright ignoring of my commands so they can cast Embrace? ;u.

I do worry about glamour dresser. In reality, anything I put in there is easily attainable again and I'd never wear it by itself anyway... but I just know not being able to get it back will bite me in the ass someday. I do like the universal prisms and I have like 30 various ones hanging around that'll immediately come in handy come Tuesday.

It seems like a lot of class adjustments simply weren't needed, though. Or they did nothing to address problems. But that's pretty par for the course at this point.
