Maybe they're trying to lower our expectations for the Eureka release. :^)How did the devs screw MSQ up? Is it really that hard to just lower the amount of enemies, add in some basic NPCs as allies, and keep it as a solo duty. Now they pretty much tanked MSQ by making things more difficult. Way to go, devs. This patch cycle has been really screwy.
Bad move Square Enix to force players to watch all the long cutscenes.
No one is gonna do MSQ roulette now and your new player base is gonna be stuck for a great amount of time in order to pass these dungeons.
Didn't see the issue because you can watch the cutscene in your inn room.
And won't be surprise to see some people creating some PF like these "Selling ARR MSQ dungeon clear runs", this is what's gonna happen for sure.
And again a MCH nerf really...

Poor casters...
BLM is still useless, SMN is back to the useless JOB group, only RDM will be valuable for progress and useless after.
And RIP new player, i will never enter MSQ roulette again!

I feel bad for the newbies, i'll still run msq roulette for you poor leafy boys, maybe i'll bake a cake during the cutscenes, or take a nap, who knows, endless possibilities with all this new free time i'll have on my hands.
That would require 'active dev time'. Changing reward from 120 to 200 is just number change. How did the devs screw MSQ up? In the letter translation Yoshi said something along the lines of most expensive xpac yet (investment they are doing) but tbh I just read it as: We're sending most of the money to SE HQ to fuel VII remake and new projects.
Dark knight buffs are a joke.
I dont know what they are thinking.

I'm bit bit confused by the glamour dresser part. They told us we could take items out of it but the notes are saying -
* Please be warned that gear, once transformed into a glamour, can no longer be used as an item. This is an irreversible process. Transformed gear no longer exists as an item.
* Transformed gear cannot be returned to your inventory or Armoury Chest.
* Glamours stored in the dresser cannot be applied to adventurer squadron NPCs.
* Some gear cannot be transformed into a glamour.
Glamour Storage Limit
The dresser can hold a total of 200 glamours regardless of equipment type. Once this limit has been reached, glamours in the dresser must be destroyed before new glamours can be added.
I feel lied to.
They still said that only the AOE will be nerfed and that the single target DPS will remain the same..which is not the case anymore..Summoner needed the nerf. It nearly beat Samurai for highest personal DPS in the whole game. Once you factored in utility and buffs, it straight up slaughtered everything. The downside, of course, is they practically locked the physical meta for yet another tier. The only change now is Monk may actually bench Machinist/Bard. Summoner will remain valuable though, just less so.
Also about glamour dresser:
From the notes
-Please be warned that gear, once transformed into a glamour, can no longer be used as an item. This is an irreversible process. Transformed gear no longer exists as an item
-Transformed gear cannot be returned to your inventory or Armoury Chest.
-Some gear cannot be transformed into a glamour.
Wait what? Did they not tell us that we can take it back again? Are you saying that nex to having a limit of 200, those items will be lost forever if the storage is full and we need to take something out? Also that not everything can be put in this? What kind of great new system is that? Wow its even worse of a band-aid that I thought..
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
I doubt the MSQ daily reward will be worth the time needed to clear it with the this new changes. I might do them to help friends, but other then that its goodbye MSQ daily for me.
