

They could just make it a WHM only ability and make it work like it does in PvP. That could help shake up the formula a bit.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.







Those are my exact thoughts. It's not specified as to exactly why the dev team feels conflicted to keep or get rid of it (I'm just gonna speculate WHM aesthetic reasons) but this seems like the most simplest solution imo.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Yoshida: Haven't they been on the rise recently? I think it's the opposite. I'm surprised that we've been seeing more warriors than dark knights.
You see them sometimes as MT in Savage or on Shinryu.

So it looks like we can still form a party in eureka. And a level down thing when you die for elemental things sounds cool too.


It's FATEs and hunts... How is that "a completely different set of battle rules from field or instanced content." that Yoshi said just last November? This is literally the only content in the overworld besides quests. What the hell? Can they seriously not think of anything new?
