Well, it appears to just be a palette-swap of that generic 'Far Eastern' Garlean uniform you already gain in Yanxia during the SB storyline anyway sans the helmet so a better option is simply to ask for that set to be dyeable.
I honestly can't tell if I like this set or hate it. I'm sure it'll look better once its dyed but as is the shapes and muddy colours all blend together. Of the lot the tank gear is the only one I can see myself not instantly glamming over...
Otherwise, I actually like most of the new gear! PVP is easily my fav, and Im capped on wolf marks and set for the real endgame![]()
It is painfully obvious, apart from some af from sb, whomever creates gear designs is out of ideas. This gear (especially raid gear) is uninspired, ugly, and looks like dungeon droppings of yester-year. Tell me why, and this includes deltascape, the devs didnt use gear models from the tiers’ respective ff installment? There are tons of appropriate and interesting gear/ looks from ff6 party members but instead we get this doody (but we’ll make Setzer’s gear for gold saucer)? Raid gear this xpac doesnt even look related to the ff/raid it belongs. Despite not being a fan of alex gear aestheticaly, it at least LOOKED alex-themed. PvP gear is alright, but thats about it. Cut the crap SE.
I agree that excepting the PVP set, these are nothing new. I like the Mendacity sets, they're not bad as far as such sets go and the central-Asian theme is something new and works with Xaela characters. The Sigmascape sets wouldn't motivate me of themselves to raid, other than the caster set, which is decent.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
This is my guess. I think NIN is that one because it shares hat with ranged, which wouldn't be the first time.
Tanks and DRG always get the armor with most plates.
Can't be dyed yet.
These are the jobs for the raid gear. The Sam in the trailer had that set on ( you can tell from the cape). The Bard in the trailer had that set on, with that helmet. The caster and healer sets are easy to tell cause they’re identical. The tank and DRG sets are easy to tell cause of the armpit plating, which would leave the last one to be NIN.

I know what you're talking about but it's probably the bigger collar that's doing it for me... though I'll say white is not my color.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
