Still reading but for sure important I think is the fact that Doma will be both 4.2 and 4.3. So no more big Mhigo stuff till 4.4 it seems, outside of possible dungeons.
I actually think we are done with Ala Mhigo completely if thats the case, I mean... what else can they cover? 4.4 will more likely be the "preview" for 5.0, much like 2.4 (shiva stuff), and 3.4 (warriors of darkness).
Revenge of the goblin smithy 2018Will you lose experience?
Yoshida: Yeah. After you're incapacitated, you can't accept raise for certain period of time, but this only happens if you return to your home point. There's no penalty if you're raised. Also, there is a dedicated "Magia Board," which is something like a plate that switches attributes, and you'll make use of that as you explore. Unlike public fields so far, when monsters in Eureka detect players, they'll chase them anywhere. It will be more chaotic than usual, so please be careful.
If the translation's accurate, it seems like the dev team is acutely aware of the feedback people have been giving since forever. Especially about how WHMs are upset at having so many skills taken away and "given back" as Role Actions. That's comforting to know.
They're building up Eureka so much that I'm worried it'll fall flat due to overhype. It might get treated as Diadem v2 even if it's actually not so bad, just not the amazing new experience they're painting it as.
Well a certain forum member isn't going to like that very much.So it's not related to the story of Crystal Tower?
Yoshida: There's no direct link for now. Crystal Tower was a side story, so it'd be tough to incorporate that as essential background. Also, Crystal Tower was set so that the story came to a full conclusion and the door was closed, so it would be tough to go back to that with the state it's in. We decided to call it Eureka as we planned to make it be a mysterious place primarily used to strengthen weapons and armor.
I'm also kinda surprised that Protect is as big an issue to the devs as Yoshi implies/just states. Just never really thought about that honestly. I'd rather it not be removed from the game completely but I wonder if it might get any big changes in another xpac.

Monsters chasing people anywhere. On top of that death penalties after a certain level makes the mass chaos even more interesting in the end. I am hoping the brain test that was mentioned in sigmascape isn't blown out of proportion like sophia's tilts were the first few weeks. Seriously that was just hilarious "You have to calculate the numbers and see which side comes out bigger, thus seeing which side will tilt. Blue equals 3 and red equals 1, do the math in 4 seconds". Some random person "Uh hey guys just count the tethers and see if they are even or odd for tilts."
I'm willing to give Eureka a shot because it seems like there are real penalties that will set you back. I'm curious to see how that will play out - I never really did Diadem, so this is my first real taste at content like this. Plus...I have something I could run with my FC when it unlocks.
No not Paladin nerfs! They may as well just delete paladin from the game! It's no longer going to have a raid spot and it's going to get benched for the rest of Stormblood! Worst game ever! Rabble rabble.
Also I was being sarcastic, I noticed a distinct lack of doom and gloom regarding the nerfs so I felt I had to post it.
Please just get rid of Protect. It's a pointless ability. Most healers just drop it after casting it at the start of a dungeon... Just increase defence and magic defence across the board and remove Protect. Or change it to something completely different.
