    Tri-bind

    A bit late to start talking about that but with the preseason coming it's time for feedback:

    Tri-bind is bad the way it is right now, and absolutely doesn't flow with SMN. First off the MP cost is very high, with a "long" cast, negligible damage, and usually you're not gonna save anyone with it unless everyone is retreating but then again by the time the cast goes off the enemy might be on you already.
    It's nearly impossible to be proactive with it; say you want to bind enemy melee and tank to save your healer, the healer still has to cast and might not benefit from having them bound right next to them, and again, the cast is long, the healer might be dead before/as the cast goes off.
    On top of all that Bahamut and his Wyrmaves break binds, that skill is completely unsuited for SMN.
    I am not really sure how it could be improved, making it instant still wouldn't be great, because of the MP cost and the fact it would mostly only be useful for self defense.
    SMN has very little going to help the party, so making it (or replacing it with) an actual useful CC of some sort would be most welcome.

    I agree that is pretty much problem for SMN. PPl not complain much summoners because their damage is good, but neutral game and support game is kinda weak. There is not many tools how you can protect yourself or team mates like other jobs.

    RDM can jump/charge, heal, reduce opponent damage with Monomachy and heavy.

    BLM can sleep, heavy, bind, Aetherial Manipulation, heal with convert and use swiftcast every 30 sec if need instant sleep/heavy/bind

    MCH can knock back, heavy and stun

    BRD can jump and bind with repelling shot + silence + defensive song that mitigate little bit damage.

    SMN can use energy drain and tri bind that have 2.3 sec cast time. If you are in dreadwyrm stance or have no aetherflows in general, there is nothing how you can instantly protect yourself outside of additional actions.

    Also in my opinion, CC is relatively useless in PvP since they removed all of the good ones (and healers are GODS).

    This being said, I've used Tri-bind quite a bit in PvP. I believe it has its niche uses if you are excellent with timing and the flow of your teammates. It could be just what you need to stop someone at an opprotune moment. But again, it requires excellent timing and an idea of what may happen next. Back before the PvP revamp it was better when used with Swiftcast, but it can still be used even now.

The pet also buffs the party with the new added skill that I can't remember off the top of my head. The party utility is minor, but there when you need it. It's a relatively mobile caster, and that alone adds utility through DPS.

    Also in my opinion, CC is relatively useless unless soloing content or in PvP.
