disconnecting in duties feels like a punishment

Hello,

Ever since Stormblood launched the servers have been hit with disconnection issues as soon as the servers get crowded.
I know that this issue is not limited to ffxiv and that some other online games also have this issue with their servers.
However, like I have previously stated, I still can't agree with the way this game handles disconnects while in duties. You lose your entire limit break, and you lose all your FC buffs and your TP while in a duty and disconnecting.
Why? to prevent players from abusing disconnecting at the right time to dodge mechanics, i know that.
However, right now this issue is literally screwing our static over and over again.
So, as I stated some time ago, either change how this system works or improve server stability at peak times ( I've been having increased disconnects this week because 4.2 is about to launch and people are returning=> crowded servers).

Right now this feels not like something preventing people to dodge mechanics but something
that punishes people even when they disconnect through no fault of their own but due to server side issues
( i know it's not on my end cause ping tests suggest otherwise).
So I think there are two options that could improve the current system.
Either make the consequences when disconnecting less severe.
Stay with the current system but improve server an/or connection stability.
I love this game, but this issue is really annoying me and other members in our static.
