    DRK ideas / changes

    Sole Survivor
    Marks target with the status Another Victim. If that target should be KO'd in battle, 20% of your maximum HP and MP will be restored.
    [If the target KO's while under Another Victim debuff, Sole Survivor's cooldown resets.]


    Blood Price
    Merge blood price and current Blood Weapon into 1 Action. Can be used in any stance.
    Restores partial MP when damage is taken.
    Reduces weaponskill cast time and recast time, spell cast time and recast time, and auto-attack delay by 10% and converts physical damage dealt into MP, while reducing weaponskill TP cost by 20%. Also increases Blood Gauge by 3 each time a physical attack lands.


    REWORKED Blood weapon
    Dark knight sacrifices 15% of their current hp turning their weapon into blood weapon.
    The blood weapon copies every offensive action performed by the dark knight and at the same time increasing parry chance by 15% for 10 seconds.
    Blood weapon deals 15% of each action's potency / combo potency / dark arts potency / dark arts combo potency.
    E.g While Blood weapon is active, Souleater deals dark arts combo potency of 440, Blood weapon will deal 66 dark arts combo potency.
    Duration: 10s
    Recast: 70s
    (Delirium no longer extend blood weapon duration by 8s respectively)
    (Blood weapon cannot copy Abyssal Drain, Salted Earth , Unmend due to dark knight not using their weapon to make contact with their target)
    *Dark knight could also benefit hp drain from blood weapon's soul eater copy action. However if this proves to be too overpowered, this effect can be ignored*


    Dark arts
    Attune with the darkness within you, increasing the potency of several actions. Can only be executed when succumbing to the Darkside.
    Effect fades if Darkside is canceled or after 10 second duration.
    Duration: 10s [Within this 10 second duration, dark arts does not fade when using several actions affected by it. Dark arts fades after 10 seconds or when darkside is canceled.]
    Cooldown: 20s


    Dark arts - Plunge
    Upon landing, Dark Passenger automatically appears beneath the dark knight in all direction. (Meaning Dark passenger becomes aoe if used in dark arts + plunge)
    [Same distance as current dark passenger but in a circle]
    Both skill goes on cooldown.


    Dark arts - Unleash
    Automatically drops Salted Earth beneath the dark knight after using Unleash.
    Salted Earth goes on cooldown.


    REWORKED Unmend
    Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 150. Places a debuff called "Wither" on target.
    Wither will spread to nearby targets every 2 seconds.
    Wither debuff refreshes if target is damaged by Abyssal Drain.
    Target with Wither takes additional 20 potency damage from Abyssal Drain.
    Additional Effect: Increased enmity
    Additional Effect: 30% chance that next Unleash will cost no MP
    Wither Duration: 15s

    While I do find the other ideas you suggested interesting or neat, depending on how you're attempting to describe this, you've either potentially nerfed Living dead, or made DRK literally impossible to kill with even remotely competent healers.

    If your change is to simply make it so that the player can no longer execute Living dead manually - but the ability itself is unchanged (same effect, same duration, same recast timer) then it would actually be a nerf to savage raids or extreme primals where DRK's often plan usages of LD to counter high damage moments in those fights. if the ability got procced by accident and it was forcefully activated against the player's will, It would be harder to use it to plan for certain mechanics because if the DRK ever got killed at the wrong time, it would no longer be available to use and could screw up how mitigation is planned. When compared to Hallowed ground and Holmgang, where the player has full control of these abilities, removing control of LD is not the best idea.

    If you are attempting to make it so that it's a passive effect that's always active on the DRK that can be triggered every single time the DRK's HP hits 0, then you've created an impossible to kill tank that can nullify every single tank buster in the game, as in a raid setting Living dead is almost never an issue to heal from. Thus the DRK could just simply let walking dead proc every single time there's a tankbuster, or a shared tankbuster like Ahk Morn.

    Ah you have a good point there Daeriion. Yeh as you mentioned the change was to make it player can no longer execute living dead manually. Ive removed it and thanks so much for your feedback!

    The issue with the version of Living dead that you propose could be fixed by turning it in a toggle active rather than a passive trait. You'd activate Living dead like you do with Darkside. So you can keep your Living dead for particular mechanics, or use it as a safety net. And of course it should keep it's effect (10s immunity) and its cooldown (once it proc'ed, you must wait 300s to be active again).

    I like your idea about Blood weapon and Blood price ! But I have a small problem with a "Dark art" Plunge: its animation is already long enough that you are guaranteed to clip your GCD if you want to use DA and Plunge, or you have to use DA right after Souleater, then Plunge after Hard slash.

    Yeh i feel that dark knight playstyle is a bit clunky due to dark arts.
