    Well, this is surprising....

    Although I doubt you will ever see a Sonic the Hedgehog game with the SE logo on it, let alone a Sonic crossover in FFXIV, as although he was Sonic's original creator, Sega still own the copyright for it (kind of like how Hironobu Sakaguchi has had no control over the FF series since leaving SE despite being it's original creator). Still, an unexpected development. I can't wait to see what games he comes up with though (Shenmue is still one of my favourite games and was really ahead of it's time) - maybe he's going to be seconded to work on FFXVI? (I can only dream ).

    Sonic is property of SEGA, and PSO2 is SEGA's MMO. There was a collaboration with PSO2 and FFXIV in japan, so there MAY be a non-zero chance ( I don't care either way).
