    It's all the mechanics working together like a well-oiled machine that make challenging fights. If you are so vehemently against enrage timers because you think they are "bad design", I challenge you to put something in it's place that is either just as challenging to overcome or even harder. I'd be willing to bet you can't come up with anything in the realm of a balanced and challenging encounter that would top it. Just do everyone a favor, stop pretending like you have any kind of experience with challenging encounter design and stop pulling the "Bad/Lazy Design" card, all it does is make you look foolish.

    It's impossible to run out of MP. I would change that.
    I would make stun mechanics useful again.
    I would make it so you need to dispell boss or the players.
    I would make it so DPS have to make a stun rotation.
    I would get rid of predictable mechanics.

    Pressing 1,2,3,4 the fastest while avoiding the bullet storm (cast lines). Is literally the most basic game-play there is. Go play Asteroids, same thing.

    There is a whole list of skills not being used. I would use those and get rid of the Asteroids mechanics.

    You know how they made Asteroids harder as time went on? Faster and more. Basically an Enrage Timer. Congratz you are paying a monthly to play Asteroids.

    Uh. Requiring stun rotations and enrage timers aren't mutually exclusive though? And tanks can stun without a rotation soooo...

    The question was what would i do to introduce challenge. I'm telling you that the game needs to make changes soooo, tanks would not have infinite stun just like healer would not have infinite mp?

    Maybe it would be to hard for you to need to coordinate with the other dps? The fact is; that you are the ones that don't want challenge. You just want to mindlessly press 1,2,3,4 as fast as you can and see your score (parse) at the end. Any real challenge would make parses useless, can't have that can we.

    Really? My comments were nowhere near an attack...slow your roll there. A bit hypocritical to say I attacked you when just a few weeks ago (oh wait, a couple weeks ago, my bad...you know, semantics and all, bro) you said everybody who used parsers sucked. Those were your exact words. So don't come to me with that passive aggression when I haven't directly attacked you or your comments. Yet. Insofar as your comments are concerned, you did not give anywhere near a legit answer. Asteroids don't feature combos...Asteroids doesn't feature having to soak mechanics...Asteroids don't feature sliding across an ice floor...

    If this were truly a bullet hell...oh wait, I'm sorry, a bullet storm game, don't ya think we'd have been able to dodge Grynewaht's gatling cannon at the end of Doma Castle? Or at least have a method of reflecting his bullets back at him as a SAM, or even block them entirely as a WHM, like Y'shtola did against Gaius in 1.x? Also, what does this topic have to do with parsing? I dunno even know why you brought it here. It was briefly mentioned earlier, and then the conversation resorted back to the main subject at hand, which is endgame. If you want to do a strawman argument, well...
