Limited edition = an edition of a book, or reproduction of a print or object, limited to a specific number of copies.
That is the incentive. Most people with common sense could understand this was a marketing strategy. SE is a business not a Charity.
Business the activity of making one's living or making money by producing or buying and selling products (goods and services). Simply put, it is "any activity or enterprise entered into for profit.

Nobody is jealous of you.. To be honest I am quite glad I DIDNT buy the statue as i couldve bought food, or games with 100+ dollars. Doesnt matter how much money you have.
I hope they add this just for you, since youre very cocky.
Sorry but it's not about me, it's not a matter of bragging, it's called a general rule of society and life. My gaming is my me outlet to life, ( sooo many games and most really suck now a days, to be honest mainly play imports ) it's more of a waste of money going out to pay for overpriced water drinks, or use some excuse to get high knowing very well that it's more of a way to run away from trouble that was either created by you or a life style you choose. Here is a tip for saving money, use it for your self not to impress others. This is how you avoid complaining about petty things such as emotes and the new app. I guarantee you if people would use common sense and actually balance their expenses they probably spend more on junk food than actual food or things that they maybe will only use once and forget a bout it.
Sorry to say the truth hurts.

I didn’t read his reply as cocky. He was replying to someone who made a point of judging statue owners on how they spent their money, and he simply stated that he worked hard for his money as well as the ability to spend it as he saw fit. It was a valid statement.

My fiance and i have the same problem. We bought the shiva statue but since we both play only one of us could get the emote :/As a statue owner, I would be more than thrilled to have this in the Mogstation.
Both myself and my fiance are huge into FFXIV and merch like this kills us because we have to choose between buying two really expensive figures that we only need one of in order to both get the emote, or only having one of us get the emote.
The Odin statue was way to expensive for us both to get just so we could both have the emote, and it's going to be the same thing with the Shiva statue. Having the code in the store would be a great way for a house hold like mine to get the emotes without having a bunch of statues laying around.
Id pay more than the usual emote prices for it, but not the original statue price.
They were expensive because of the detail of the statue, not because of the emote...
Honestly it feels like people just want the emote to remain limited to use it as status symbol..
This logic is silly. The emote is an addative bonus for purchasing the figures. They never should be locked behind such a ludicrously expensive object in the first place for those who just want the emotes and would view the figure as an expensive piece of junk.
Secondly, the work that goes into creating the emote in the first place starts to fade into obscurity and well, let me put it this way.
I only just found out this emote existed when seeing if there was a way i could buy JUST the emote for Omega F/M. Because i have no interest in the figures, or spending £300 on a bloody emote in the game that i just want to admire every now and then.
Common sense is pretty clear here. Its not a slap in the face of those who purchased the figure, because the money they spend is for the figure, not the emote. Those that choose to purchase the figure for the emote did so, and for many of us we'd probably view them as people with more money than sense. But it remains to be the reality that the price tag is not for the emote. Its for the figures.
Bring them to mogstation i say. All of them!
+1, i'd love this
i own no Odin, but i have Omega statue/emotes and would not mind if those emotes too for example were freed for people craving for some cool damn emotes.
I don't care about statues. I would, however, happily pay for an emote. Those who purchased the statue have had that emote exclusively for a long enough time. Time to open it up to others (at half the price even since it doesn't include a statue even if we DID want to buy it)
