Yes. Let's change how that works just for you, because you're too lazy to put it in your storage when you're done. It's too hard to push two buttons to put it away! Dx Ruin the fun for everyone because I can't handle people touching my things!
Remember when people in this game actually helped each other and were nice? Thems were the days. I miss them. The community is really going downhill.

If they need to use a Striking Dummy, they can find them in various places in the open world.Yes. Heaven forbid we make people got off their lazy asses and traverse in the big, open world.
Oh, but there no hunts for me to leech off on and I want to be able to tab out afterwards and go afk for an hour or two! Plus teleporting takes much effort! Dx

Yes how dare anyone expect to be able to control who uses what on property they own. /eyeroll
The community is going downhill because someone doesn't want random people messing with their furnishings? Really? Good god it's not as if they're the only dummies in the game. There are plenty outside of residential areas. Honestly I think it's rude to take advantage of someone else's belongings. If the community is going downhill, you're certainly not helping by expecting home owners to be okay with strangers using their garden as a personal dojo.
Alright. How about the rights of the other people on this issue? You say you want people to control who uses their property, yes? So why would you then profess to push your own desires on the homeowners that either don't care or like people using their dummies? Why do your wishes trump their wishes? Why do you get to decide who uses my dummy?

This is absurd. If people want to control who uses their dummies then they should have the ability to turn off letting others use it. If people don't care then they can ignore the toggle and let people keep using it. The only people whose wishes this trumps is those that feel they're entitled to use someone elses stuff instead of teleporting to a place with public dummies to use.Alright. How about the rights of the other people on this issue? You say you want people to control who uses their property, yes? So why would you then profess to push your own desires on the homeowners that either don't care or like people using their dummies? Why do your wishes trump their wishes? This tread can be summed up with two groups of people. Those that want the option to control it, and those that are against it because they have no respect and want to use other peoples things. Why should a home owner be forced to go out of their way to remove furniture because you can't control yourself to not use their dummies? Seriously, use your own example and use those two button clicks to teleport to a location that has public dummies instead of using someone elses.
I'd support that but that isn't what the OP is asking for. He specifically said: "SE, please tie striking dummy use to house owners and tenant only." He's not saying 'let people decide.' He's saying to take it away from all.
You can tend other people's plants, yes.

You forgot group three the one that does not see the point in having SE waste man hours on something that can easily be solved on the side of the player. Do not want people using your dummy remove it when you are done. Sure the option would be nice, but it not such a major issue t hat is worth SE to put any extra resources in trying to resolve when they have already provided the players with a viable option. Remove the dummy when it is not in use. This has nothing to do with respect to be 100% honest. It simply makes no sense why SE should spend any man hours on such a issue. I mean if it is simply a toggle issue so be it, but being how archaic their server infrastructure is I find it highly unlikely this is a toggle issue.
Also no one has yet to provide a reason as to why SE should expend man hours and budget to resolve an issue that can easily be resolved by the players. As I have said the option would be nice, but really it is such a non priority QoL issue. I mean to some like OP it may be a major issue, but in terms of a company that has to manage a budget and usage of man hours fairly certain issues like this are fairly low on the list of things they wish to fix / take care of. Which is perfectly understandable.

What mental gymnastics are you doing? People are only asking for a way to turn on and off public use of an item. They're not forcing everyone to turn it off. What's wrong with you?Alright. OP's exact words are: Is it really necessary to be so rude?
