Thread: 4.2 changes & monthly fee

Hi everyone!

In the middle of all this stupid new housing policy, what I really wonder (and the main reason why I have always thought that they wouldn’t ever make something like this) is:

Shouldn’t they adjust the monthly fee?

The main difference between Entry and Normal Subscriptions is the number of characters you are allowed to play in total and per world. Prior to 4.2 we were allowed to play 8 characters per world. But now, 7 out of those 8 will have a new restriction. Are they going to reduce the monthly fee too?

And I am not talking about an in-game reward. It is the real money we pay what should also be reduced, the very same as the service we get.

After all, what is the real purpose on having alts, besides making with them what we cannot make with our main? Do we really deserve having now, after 4 years, such a cap on them not applied to the fee?

Nah, not gonna happen. If anything, they'll increase the subscription cost despite offering less content.

Codes have always been ether account-wide or single. XD

We paid the same monthly fee prior to housing even existing. Just because I have alts doesn't mean I should be allowed to have more than the 1 house I already own.

I wouldnt count on it. TBH I was actually expecting to see them add housing plots to mog station or something rather than ever do something to fix the hoarding problems.

I don't want a lower price of things. Honestly, I just want them to get their stuff together and make using my alts more accessible.

as a point, you CAN pay less if you're willing to not have alts at all. It's just an all or nothing change.

Well, they don't have a 1 char per server legacy option, so im stuck with 8/40 XD

With that line of thinking, since the majority of players are actually unable to own a house at all due to lack of availability, they should lower the sub fees since most people don’t have access to the gameplay provided by housing.

People should never have been able to own multiple houses on the same world to begin with, plus it sounds like people who already do are getting grandfatherd in, so why would they change sub fees? Even if they did go and take away all but one house from those who currently own multiples on one world those people would STILL have more than most players who have zero houses on zero worlds.
