Thread: 4.2 changes & monthly fee

This entire thing sounds like people trying to justify why they claimed so many houses when they knew they were hurting other players who had none. I find it funny actually.

Your actions harmed other players and you think you are losing access to things since you won't be able to do it anymore? Really?

Can we seperate the Garden/Airships from houses so people who don't want any house can plant or send airships out.

Doesnt matter how much money they had, when the housing is limited, there is no excuse for owning 3+ houses when there are hundreds who want and cant have purely due to availability.

That will remove so much of the housing issue in and of itself. I don't even garden to begin with nor care to but I agree with this.

I agree, I had to fight for an apartment just so I could level up my chocobo again and change its color...pretty silly how locked away this stuff is.

I was actually going to suggest charging extra on the sub for more than the initial plot permissions as that's the exact same mentality as the current extra retainer system.

But, you'd need to give everyone with second, or third, (fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, etc) houses a grace period to either vacate with their items or agree to buy it on Mog Station. We also need to start allowimg players to recover flooring, wallpaper, lighting, and exteriors like walls, doors, fencing, etc because right now those are consumable and all players can benefit from a system.

With that line of thinking, since the majority of players are actually unable to own a house at all due to lack of availability, they should lower the sub fees since most people don’t have access to the gameplay provided by housing.

People should never have been able to own multiple houses on the same world to begin with, plus it sounds like people who already do are getting grandfatherd in, so why would they change sub fees? Even if they did go and take away all but one house from those who currently own multiples on one world those people would STILL have more than most players who have zero houses on zero worlds.

Unofficial live letter translations picked up on Yoshi-P mentioning about the current houses being left alone/grandfathered. Unfortunately, the official live letter update thread does not mention this.

With Legacy we already get 8/40 at a reduced rate I don't think SE would change it.
