An NPC you truly hate with passion

I despise Minfilia. Even useless Emmali... Wherever that guy's name was, as much as I wished Thancred allowed me to punch him in HW, at least he did something, no matter how stupid and foolish it was. Minfilia did absolutely next to nothing.

I mean, that's how I feel about most of the SB villians. I can empathise, but can I forgive?

These characters are better written and more entertaining on screen, so I can't "hate" them since I think they are good villians. I appreciate them for the sake of good storytelling and driving the game foward.

Verses a 2-dimensional, cliche that borrows from the same pool of "these are evil, immoral traits and actions" as a billion other, much more interesting villians, and only adds flair with a cool suit.

Absolutely not an act befitting a hero, to be sure. lol

I'm very much of the mindset that monsters eat other monsters and that, sometimes, monsters are a necessity. Murder is still murder, and the punishment should be the same for both "types" of monsters (even if you're the pseudo-god Warrior of Light), but just because the punishment for those acts exist that doesn't mean the act shouldn't be done. How many people died, in part, because we allowed Laurentius and his ilk to run free - enabled them to run free, even?

Along these lines I'm curious to see where Fordola's story arc takes us. But I digress; that's a whole different thread.

Honestly, I don't think there's a single character in all of the video games I have played in my life that I despise more than Minfillia. She is the most useless NPC I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with, and as someone who has a severe problem in making alts, her stupid linkpearl calls and fetch quests alone are the reason why my characters are slow to progress after meeting the Scions.
Her dialogue... oh god her dialogue. It's probably my own damn fault but I started to use her phrase "must needs" in my own speech in a scathingly mocking/ironic kind of way, but it's since become something of a bad habit and I hate it so much someone please stop me.
I could probably write an entire book on why I hate her. I was about to right here and now, but I figure I'll just leave it at that.

Oh i must to revoke my choice, because Frixio and all other sylphs and the story line with them and the quests i hated the most.
Walking back and forward over and over and over, with this little shaity cabbage flying i wanted to cut in a half with all my heart. You had no idea how i was happy seeing one of them dying.
I would be super happy if someone just hunt them all and cut into the soup, cut them all into pieces!

Zenos van Galvus. This guy is not only pure evil but also is a total moron. One of the blandest villains I have seen in this game.

My favorite character is Lyse. She doesn't know what to do half the time and makes mistakes. She also speaks plainly. Out of the scions, she is the only one who felt like a friend and running buddy instead of a lecturer and know it all.
