For those who collect Triple Triad cards like I use to probably would hate Lewena like me. She got on my last nerve with her bad attitude and high end cards. I was lucky to get one of her cards, but the other 2, I had to get by other means. I just couldn't stand her and hate her guts. I wanted beat her, take her cards and shove 'em up where the good lord split her!
Magnai is still the worst for me. From the first moment he was on my screen, I wanted to kill him and mount his head on my (virtual) wall.
Having to run multiple main story quests that were basically running errands for this jerk and not having a single "screw you" option completely ruined the Azim Steppe for me. We were polite enough to not even attack his men and then suddenly we're "captured" when we could have easily fought our way off that stupid dirt bowl? I know that there were "story reasons" and all, but either something was lost in translation or everyone else is more of a masochist than I am if they played the same thing I did and want to help this sack of crap in love or whatever.
GAH! I can't properly sort my words on this scum.
I'm not kidding about that "on my wall" thing either. So if you're reading this, housing team, consider this an honest request.

Bonus points as I like the hair, such a waste on that scumbag.

Most disliked "buddy"
Too masochistic, too broody, too edgy, too dark... knight. Can't help it.
Somebody managed to get a shot of him smiling, he can SMILE, can you imagine it?
He's so handsome when he smiles...

Pink-haired protagonist: I don’t understand!
Purple-haired antagonist: You don’t need to!– All the explanation you need for a (Final) fantasy story.

Cant take opinioins like these seriously coming from a person who plays a lalafel and use words like "cognetive dissonance", the double moral here is just... The reality is that most if not all lalafells apart from pipin are simply out of place characters with their missmatched voice acting and over exaggerated silly theatrics in an Epic tale like this. While individuals like Lyse and Minfilia are perfectly synced with the dramatic atmosphere of the game playing huge rolls in the main plot i cant help to wonder if you are just jealous of the characters on a personal level.Lyse and Minfillia, and for nearly the exact same reasons to be perfectly frank. They're both written to be 'strong' or at least the narrative is written in such a way that makes it clear that's how the writers want us to perceive them; and yet they're both anything but. Minfillia at the very least is acknowledged as 'waifu' bait and shunted off screen as of this current patch cycle, but Lyse has all the hallmarks of a strong character while constantly being undermined. They both come off as cognitively dissonant characters. Minfillia supposedly the most useful of the Scions who still doesn't know what a linkpearl is bloody used for; and Lyse who literally has all her character defining moments legitimately stolen or retracted for the sake of the plot. I cannot stand characters who regress in intelligence or worth simply because the plot demands it, and they both are constant offenders of this in spite of the story /never/ acknowledging it.
Lyse especially is a dual offender in this regard. Her story arc during the Steppes was interesting and you could see the beginnings of growth slowly taking root, and yet all of it was retracted the second we shifted focus back to Ala Mhigo. Suddenly she was the leader of the Resistance for little more reason than she /had/ no reason, aside from plot convenience; and yet not two missions later she was regulated back to a common foot soldier once the invasion took place. Thancred, Raubahn, and even /Pippin/ and /HIEN/ were more pivotal to the reclamation of Ala Mhigo than she was. Hell she was taking orders /FROM/ Raubahn instead of collaborating with him like an equal. It just left one hella bad taste in my mouth when after Shinryu was beaten she strutted around like she was hot shit when she literally did /nothing/; just followed the Warrior of Light around like a lost puppy.
I also quite hate the fact that I've encountered no small amount of backlash for pointing these things out either. I've been called misogynistic for not worshiping the ground either of them walk upon and it's done little to help my hatred. I love strong characters and can even appreciate weak ones, but I /cannot/ stand characters who I'm told are strong but the writing makes them anything but regardless of their gender.
Also, Whats with the "/" brackets? Cant you just write normally
Imagine digging up a 4 year old post to pick a fight with a midget. Must be boring af where you're at right now.
Aw man I was just about to contribute and then I looked at the dates, lol
Renda-Rae. I thought she was too much of a slag who kept talking a lot of smack and her "backstory" didnt do much to have me sympathize with her. Although I hated all of the Warriors of Darkness anyway prior to Shadowbringers lol. The only one I didnt dislike from the get-go was Nyelbert mostly because he kept whatever stinking antagonistic attitude he would've shown at the Source to himself. Ardbert was such a try hard edgelord and Branden was such a dilbert constantly making smug faces and I didnt appreciate how he bullied Y'shtola.
*but like I said, I love em now so maybe this post I made was totally pointless*
