I've returned! First I find pants, then Louisoix dies for sending me to the void.

    can we abolish delivery quotas?

This has happened to me twice already, I've been gathering/crafting mats for Grand Company seals only to find the quotas filled within hours of being placed. Most recently, I crafted a bunch of hempen cloth for this week, only to get the message that the quota has been filled, I now have a stack of cloth that I doubt will sell, and wasted about 30k on the grass to craft it from, and before you complain that I'm just hating, this happened today, less than eight hours after the GC made the item request. The quotas are obviously inadequate, considering the most valuable ones are being filled in less than a day, with a weekly reset.

Therefore, why can't we just get rid of the fixed quota? At present, it just locks out people who can't be on all the time.

    Yes please!

The quotas are being almost instantly filled up by people who just happen to have loads of that mat stored, and considering how new provision requests are random there's no way to even prepare for them.

It's extremely frustrating since this also happens to be the best way to get seals. Either abolish the quotas or increase them (but let us know what's coming up!).

I never do the company requests but agree that there should be no quota, it would be better to allow each player to have a cap each week.

Better still have it as a quest/request which you can complete at your own speed without the fear of being too slow to beat the quota completion.

I definitely am in support of this and of personal quotas.

I am in favor of this as well. There is nothing like spending numerous hours gathering up the materials to turn in for some of the provisioning missions, only to find the quota full, and like the OP, I now have a large stack of materials that I am stuck with until I find another use for them.

I think, overall, that Guild Company quests may need another "once over" altogether. Guild Company leves, themselves, are really quite bland and repetitive. On the worst of them, I usually cross my fingers and hope that I get the "/poke the monster" quests merely for the fact that I can finish it faster than the "Protect the NPC" and "Defeat this many mobs" quests. Not to sound so harsh, but the Guild Company leves are quite the turn-off.

Along with the quotas for Provisioning Missions, I would like for the devs to possibly do something with the Guild Company leves as well. Either more seals or a shorter time spent locked in a quest (15 minutes for 90 ~ 120-ish seals is along the lines of cruel and unusual punishment).

Well... "Common" sense isn't all that common anymore, now is it?

The dev. team hasn't decided whether or not they will eliminate the delivery quests quota or make adjustments to ease up on them, but adjustments along these lines are currently being looked into.

Eliminating the quota would mean people could instantly fill up their GC seals to max in a few minutes. Not gonna happen, unless the devs are nuts.

i keep getting this feeling like the worst kind of fly by night programming threw 14 together for a deadline. All static variables, lack of methodology and a lack of direction allowed that to happen. Then Yoshi took over and found out just what happened and was basically like... ok i guess we are starting from the ground up... GREAT
