Not so much in the sense of making the world an interactive place since that's something completely different, but more so expanding/modifying what we have already. For example:

In battles if you pay close attention, with certain weapons when you parry you'll see your character deflect the attack with their weapon or you'll see (usually 2 handed weapons) brace for impact.

As well as if you strike a crab when it's in it's shell you'll notice your weapon (generally 1 handed) bounce off of it's shell if you let the animation play out.

More little subtle attention to detail like that since it's something you really don't see much in even offline games.
