So I just snagged a house - not something I want forever in the least - when the new 4.2 houses open will I be able to transfer to a new ward / plot? I read FC leaders get first dibs - but do people who already own plots get to get in on this action?

Like, can I transfer from my small Lavender Beds one to a medium Shirogane?

Also, how do you transfer from one plot to another? I checked youtube and didnt see any videos demonstrating this.

Based on what they've said in the Live Letter, it seems so, yes.

Relocating is actually really easy. You just go up to the sign like you did when you bought that house, but you'll see a new option to relocate house, just click that/confirm the price and that's it, it instantly moves all your furniture into storage at your new house and removes the old plot.

Relocation is not limited to fcs only during the initial release, just fresh purchases. You can relocate to any available plot of any size in any district. This shows it from the live letter when they first introduced it. Not sure if anyone managed to get english screen grabs of the process at all because usually they're busy in a flurry of clicks trying to lay claim to the plot before someone else gets to it.

And I can't say this enough, be very very careful if you have the ability to move both an fc and personal plot when selecting choices!

Not exactly. It's the full price of whatever plot you're buying, minus 30% of the lowest price your plot could be worth.

So for a small that 30% figure is between 446,400 and 558,000 depending on what your current plot grade is.

One thing you have to keep in mind though, when you relocate, all the items in your house get put into your storeroom. So after relocating you will have to redecorate your place.

Be wary of cost from small to medium. I know when I dumped my small and bought a medium I had to pay full depreciated (at that time) price which was about 17 mil plus 1 mil for deed. Not sure how they are handling the cost differences in sizes this time around. Grats on house! Sorry Elamys, this post was for the OP hehe. Boo-boo
