    Best Tribe Squad Members

Since they seem to be adding more rewards to Beast Tribes lately, was wondering how community would feel if devs added option to be able to recruit Beast Tribes as recruits for your squad?

    Sylph Healer?
    Ixali Rogue?
    Moogle Tank?

People are afraid of beast tribe members in the city-states. That would have to change in the msq for the change in squads to be made.

Beastmen are commonly interacted with by the playable races. As one example, there are beastmen walking freely around Limsa. It would be an easy thing to explain their inclusion in our squadrons, even with cases where the City State doesn't have the best relations with the nearby beast tribe. Something as simple as our Grand Company representative in the barracks saying, "Though our relations with the beast tribes can be strained at times, our company has approved of a new initiative to recruit trustworthy allies from their ranks. Should you choose to recruit beastmenit will go far in mending relations with our beast tribe neighbors." Nothing more is needed in lore than that to clear things up.

I spent too much time collecting the specific squadron members I wanted to replace any of my squadron with beast tribe folks :')

    @ lore
Aren't beastmen straight up forbidden from entering Ul'dah?

They are if I remember correctly? And the only Beastmen I recall interacting positively with any city state were the Qiqirn, Moogles, and Sylphs. Though the latter two mostly keep to themselves and/or cannot be seen by most mortals in the case of the Moogles if the opening cutscene is anything to go by. Limsa in particular is called out several times in the MSQ for it's dodgy relation with the Sahagin and Kobolds by comparison.

(Please do correct me if I'm wrong.)

beast tribes don't really have the ability to gear up so it would clash with the glamour system they implemented.
    also would be screwy lore-wise

i think the ones that actually interact with the cities aren't even tribes you can get reputation with. qiqirn and goblins

Beast races used to be welcome in all city-states until Ul'dah kicked them out of their own city. The other city-states have varying degrees of tolerance.

Limsa currently appears to have the most cosmopolitan attitude towards beastmen. Currently in game you can find Qiqirn, a Goblin, and even a Mamool Ja. The only ones they appear to have trouble with are the Sahagin and Kobolds for obvious reasons. Gridania seems to only have favorable relations with the Moogles and the Sylphs, the latter of which they have a treaty with so they could build Little Solace in their territory. In 1.0, a sylph mentioned there was even a crystal trading company made up of beastmen (mostly sylphs) and player races working together. And the lore book says Sylphs are an almost common sight.

It wouldn't be hard in-story for Ul'dah to change their policy, so I don't really see any problem with beastmen joining forces with the Grand Companies from a story perspective.
