Such rage, but most members are glad and people with many alts with hosues are like you. Now that's stupid haha.

Just hope alts not buying houses from other players for 40mil or 150+mil because SE won't be giving that money back gl! meantime I am just enjoying my one loved house.

I only have my one house and the FC house. But part of me wishes I had another. Not a big enough part to want to level up another character and earn enough money for it, but a part of me. My house is pretty much all I do these days. I love working to make my house one of the best on the server. Some people raid all day, I work on my house. Thats the part people dont get..Now its easy sure jump potions..but all 3 of mine were leveled through msq (god i hate them 100 quest between Arr and HW lol)

Probably in the "due to circumstances on our end" part. It seems to be a somewhat popular opinion that SE will take extra houses away from people. I'm not sure those same people realize how much time and money would be wasted on having to write up the code to do what they want. Especially since other than a few extreme examples, it would hardly affect the housing situation. The biggest problem with housing is just the shear difference in number of houses needed for players and FC versus the number that exist. In order to get close to meeting the demand, SE will probably need to add another 18 wards. And that probably still wouldn't help Balmung.

As was stated, prior to the free xfer there were hundreds of empty houses on low pop servers. If people wanted them badly enough they could have xferred sooner. They didn't, chose to wait until they were essentially paid to do it, and are now whining that people who have been on their new server since launch have more than one house and should have their property confiscated because "wahh someone xferred faster and got the last one."

We've been on our server since launch, hubby with both of his characters. I'm sorry you picked a high pop server in 2013, but you don't get to take away what we worked hard for and have spent years working on. I highly doubt most of you have even been playing since 2.0. (We've been around since 1.0 but were on Balmung for that).

If that was directed at me I didn't say anything that could be taken as me saying people's houses should be taken away. In fact if you have followed my posts over these past months you would have seen I am a proponent for grandfathering multiple house owners. All I was clarifying in my last update is Tussin was correct on the ability to own 16 houses.

I mean, I've had this conversation multiple times with people saying that the plots were empty before, that's fine or whatever, but still not really an excuse...you shouldn't take everything just because you can, in my opinion. And while you may use your houses, there are a lot of hoarders that do not even touch all of theirs. Those people on Mateus that own a whole ward have barely touched the majority of their houses (and they bought more after the server became active, and bought most right when transfers were announced).

Regardless, it seems to be a moot point. Several Japanese speakers on Reddit have confirmed that this will not affect existing houses.
