    Unable to complete version update [30419][19901][22]

    Can't launch the game due to this error.
    Tried everything to do with connection but no help.... I'm directly connected through wire so that shouldn't be an issue in the first place...

    creating a new user account DOES bypass the issue like so many other posts have suggested, but I need it to work on my main account.... HELP!

    Hello DrBadnews, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    When was the last time you were able to launch the game successfully? Did anything happen right before this happened that could have caused it?

    My game was fine until I reinstalled windows 10, then I reinstalled all my games and drivers, but only this game in particular stopped working.
    I have tried all the fixes I've found online and found the only solution that actually works was by creating a new local user... the game runs fine there, but having an additional user account just to play a game is a bit annoying... I was wondering if there are any permanent fixes out there yet since this seems to have been an issue since last year...

    My issue is exactly like this one, but since it's a "closed concern" and it never actually end up with any real fixes on there, I wonder if it actually got solved?

    Thank you for the update DrBadnews,

    This is a connection issue somewhere between you and the servers. because of that, there really isn't a "permanent" fix to it as it will come up whenever the connection has interference.

    You can log into the game if you use a different local account for Windows 10? But you get this error if you you use your main user account? How consistent is that?

    consistent.... more like persistent.... that's just how it is.... I was wondering if it's due to the fact that my main account is an administrator?

    If anything, it would be the opposite. The administrator would have more privileges than the local accounts. Try checking what privileges are allowed for the local users. Additionally, check the 'Documents' folder (the Final Fantasy XIV folder is under 'My Games' in the Documents folder) and see if there is any differences between the two user accounts.

    Is 'Unable to complete version update [30419][19901][22]' the exact error you get when you use your main account?

    yes it is, and when I tried logging in again, it says "Unable to complete version update [30419]"

    I replaced the whole my documents folder with the one from the other account.... the same issue still persisted
