Final Fantasy Dissidia NT event... Why not?

Dissidia as far as i know is non cannon, the characters in the game are not the same you play in their games (they are memories/clones of the original enclosed in that dimension fighting for all eternity, with the exception of warrior of light iirc).
Also the history is told by the ff1 cid,iirc, so can be a fairy tale of sorts also.

Anyway, i agree that it would be awesome to have more SE games events, in my opinion we dont need gear rewards(to dont have the "but it takes a lot of time to create" excuse), if we have housing stuff, cool titles, and the main thing good quests with some lore of the game its enough.

I don't think so they beat Nintendo just recently in the first week with around 100k in sales for it. http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/...in-first-week/ They really need to do a cross over....I would be very disappointment if they did not. GIVE US EMOTE!!! :P

Not really sure what sales numbers have to do with Pireco's statement about canon or the characters in NT being memories/manakins. Popularity of a game also doesn't denote the likelihood of a crossover or collab event as we've already seen with several other "surefire" crossovers that could've happened. I enjoy seeing how they can make allusions and mythology gags to other games instead of wholesale copying or inserting characters

True, however with enough demand it might be possible specially if it's their within their own company trademarks.
