Poetics at Level 70

About to hit my first 70 tonight, and I am running out of things (I think) to spend Poetics on.

I have purchased each of the Shire sets for my level 60's that are coming up and have also purchased the upgrade items for each as well.

I am also aware of the poetics cost of the relic weapon (level 60).

Apart from those two things, so what can I spend poetics on at level 70?

Hmm... I hear gardening is a pretty decent way to make money. Ill look into it.

Also poetics are fundamental if you do tye anima weapon or zodiac weapons. They are glam at this point but still worth it now that its super nerfed.

You can sell soil on the AH pretty reliably. That's the most straightforward way to dump excess poetics. There's also some orchestron rolls you can buy and some minions. If you have jobs at 50, you can also buy the 50 Ironworks sets to use before you can use the 60 Shire ones.

That's the main stuff, really. Right now there isn't a ton that it's needed for. At 70 you'll get Verity and Creation to spend as well.

Unless I need soil I just buy gear to exchange for company seals. Seals can then spend on ventures, cordial, dark matter, crafting materials or something to desynthesise for demimateria.

A previous post mentioned using the tomestones to buy shells, which then are used to buy soil. Where do u spend the shells to get soil? And said soil can then directly be sold on the AH? Just a question as I have no idea how this works

You want to buy unidentifiable ore. Not shells. Ore is used to buy grade 3 thanalan topsoil from Bertana in Idyllshire, under the "Uncanny Knickknacks" menu. Shells are used for grade 3 shroud topsoil, which doesn't sell nearly as well because it's used much less often.

Yup I buy the shroud, so I can plant to gather shards, as it hields 100 shards if you use shroud, though thanalan is the best bet to make some gil as it is used for cross breeding or whatever it is called.
