Basically, it's exactly what it says. Midnight at Japan's time, which is GMT+9h.


To me, who lives in Drummondville, Québec, Canada, in the GMT-5h zone, this would be 10 o'clock AM. I'm always 14 hours earlier than in Tokyo... that is, unless they don't apply DSL like we do in Québec. And if that is the case, from March to November, this will be 11 o'clock AM instead.

Well, if something is referring to 'yesterday's heroes' they have to make the day partition somewhere. Whose yesterday are they referring to? The servers and game creators are in Japan... hence JP midnight, when their day changes.

To the OP, the only thing I can think of is that few enough people on your server actually bothered to acquire any Twin Adder GC seals that day and you're still there because... they didn't have any new name to fill in your spot.

That also would be an explanation at first glance... except that I wasn't a "Hero of the Day" the day before. And they specifically say that once you appear on the board, you can't appear a second day in a row to allow more people to be mentionned.

Unless I indeed miscaculate and ended on the 18th because of JP midnight last time I did a few gc levequests (and if wasn't that many to begin with) and that there is that few who bothered... but if that's the case, this is sad. lol

I was named "Hero of the Day" for February 10th... thing is, I haven't logged in nearly a week and a half. O_o I'm on a break since I'm playing FFXIII-2 ! LOL

Somehow I doubt I can be of "exceptionnal service" to the Order of the Twin Adder when I haven't done anything at all... in days.

JP Midnight was a big factor in FFXI, it affected many things until about Wings of the Goddess where they started to just use a 24 hour timer for newer things
