/changerun (Changing the way your character runs)

I found a post like this a couple of days ago but not on the FFXIV Forums!

You know how you can /changepose whilst standing or sitting down? Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use a similar function for the way characters run - /changerun? There are a few races that look nice, but gosh some of them just don't suit my taste. It looks like my lalafell alt's farting with every step. Something to maybe personalize your character a bit more? I know a lot of Tomboy Midlanders that really hate their running animation for example. I also wish my Au Ra ran with a bit more sass! Everyone has their own style, likes.. this just adds more personality!

That would be nice. I'm not a fan of the female Roegadyn running animation. The secondary weapon drawn stance for Monk could use a change too - it looks terrible on my big girl.

I personally don't see the point as I've never paid much attention to how I run... none of my friends ever even bothered to look at it.. We all just want to get at our destination fast.. rest is of little importance... keep in mind that changes like these take a lot of time and money to implement so you have to get great benefits for both SE and the user... and so far I'm only seeing an idea that might be appealing to "some"...

I love the way female Au Ra look, but my god do I hate the way they run. It feels like I am too bent over, about to hit the floor at a single misstep. So everytime I fantasia into one, I leave it within the week to go back to miquote because they run like a normal humanoid.
I would love an option to give them a more graceful run, something less "HOLY BANANAS PULL UP BATMAN"
