I did not screenshot my last crash today 17/1/2018. But I got the same error especially in Weeping City (only) again, and I have changed the setting to DX 9.0c. Nothing wrong with my graphic card. Will this be a thing where I have to re-install? Cos I am not doing that.

Unfortunately it sounds like some of your downloaded files for Weeping City are corrupt, but there's no built in file verification so there's no way to work out which/redownload just those. If you have it on Steam be very wary of doing the verify files option as won't do what you might expect. It will indeed verify the game files but compared to the 2.1 version that Steam has. It'll then see that most of them are different (as we're now on 4.1!), so it'll delete all the newer files, redownload 2.1 (from Steam) and then when you run the game again it'll see that you're on 2.1 so will redownload every patch since then (including both expansions).

So realistically, your options are copy the game files from a friend if that's an option otherwise yes reinstalling is most likely your only option
