About housing system - neighbor

after I bought a house in shirogane I really loved to visit neighbor house but I can't send them a greeting or gift
is it possible that you will upgrade housing system that can greet other house or something that can tell who's came to visit your house / best regards

I would go read their placard and then send them a nice tell or mail. I do not know if ff14 allows items to be sent by mail though. It's a very kind idea nonetheless.

You can send items through the mail, but only if the recipient is on your friend’s list.

Oh wow that would be cool. If there was some kind of neighborhood events and rewards you get (special furniture) doing stuff with your neighbors! That sounds like a lot of fun, promotes people to know your neighbors and people to keep their houses. I'm sure there's something that can be done there.

I think what you are asking for is a guest book to sign to say that you've visited, right?

That would be nice. Both things actually. A book that you can leave messages for the person, and a mailbox where you can drop items. lol

I think I've seen this kind of suggestion before, and I've always loved the idea of it. It'd be exciting going home just to find any message that a random stranger left. Also, there's a Paissa house right above mine that I enjoy seeing from my garden; I've always wanted to let the owners know, but I'm a bit shy to try to send them a /tell (it'll likely be hard to catch them online too).
