Plot question

The forum won't let me post this in the "Not a Bug Report" section, so i'm posting this here.

World name: Odin
Housing: Lavender Beds, ward 10, plot 2

Hi! So my neighbour in lavender beds has had it's plot for a very long time now. (probably bought a couple weeks before shirogane area was released) and has never built a house on said plot and yet for months and months (not exaggerating) this plot still remains behind this owner un-used and un-demolished. is this normal?

It is right now, because they put the auto demolish feature on a break, to help people out, who live in areas that were severely hit by natural disasters earlier this year.
Nothing confirmed yet (at least to my knowledge), but it is believed that the auto demolish will be reinstated with patch 4.2.

It has been confirmed, actually. SE made a lodestone post about it, a few weeks ago: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...5345f2bf4a16ef

It'll be reinstated in 4.2, with the timer continuing where it left off, unless the player has entered their house during the suspension period.

I thought that was just for NA players?
But if so, then i guess it makes sense. Also like i mentioned, there is no house built, so it doesn't count if they have entered the plot or not?

Too add to this..there put in a little "catch" about the timer.

If you had 2 days left before the "big kaboom" - you only have 2 days left....no extra time. At least that is how I understood it.
