Could be, although it would be really hard to prove to GMs =/ It's like passive aggressive behaviour.

I've seen maybe 2 or 3 times since release day, always in 24 man raids, where the gap between good and bad players is so huge, it creates a lot of frustration.

Simply take a screen shot; like you and others have said - no good reason to mark a player in the instance. Still, hard to tell since no one said anything and it was towards the end of the instance. Our healer (even though he marked me) was a champ throughout and I gave him my commendation anyway.

It sounds like you'd made up your mind on this being 'harassment' when you were writing your initial post.

If you're getting wound up by someone putting a marker on your head in casual content then perhaps it's time to step away from the screen sir =(

It's human nature in some people to be d**ks unfortunately, life is a lot easier if you can learn to roll with the punches and have your own fun with it.

I'm not trying to defend this kind of behaviour as I'm hardly a fan of it either, but there's a very real reason as to why online interactions are rated in the manner that they are.

I had my suspicion but didn't make my mind up on anything - like I said, first time I did the instance, so no idea if it was strategic or not. Of course, has never happened before, but still - willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

And I wasn't getting wound up - I did give my commendation to the guy who put the marker on me. I came here to ask because maybe people have had similar experiences. Thanks for your response - cheers!
