Bard Performance and... Restrictions

I've been a Warrior since I started playing. I had just reached level 70 with a healer, but I completely forgot about it once they added the Perform actions to the game for Bards. That's literally the main reason why I made one.

Anyway, I've been practicing quite a lot with my Bard, learning different songs and stuff, but... once I join a cross-server party, the game doesn't let me play anymore. And... WHY NOT?! Like what reason even is there to disable something like this while you wait for your A11S party to fill? ò_ó

Also, why can't we play inside instances? I seriously hope the excuse isn't "because we don't want Bards playing in the middle of battles". The only reason I'll accept for this is something along the lines of "we don't want Bards wowing the entire party and stealing all the commendations with their shows".

So, can we please fix these things on the next patch please? Oh and also add more notes so I can play Kugane night theme and lower the interval between notes to make other songs playable pls and thank. c:

From what I understand, Perform is pretty much a beta at this point. I know it was mentioned that they released it to get some feedback from some players - too lazy to link a source, but I do recall that the devs have some fixes to the Perform system.

I will admit, I was a bit salty that our bard isnt able to play the victory fanfare for our raid clears

This is why. Because people cannot be trusted to play nicely and it's easier to restrict them than to create countermeasures.

Seriously, we already have healers emoting instead of throwing out damage, let's not give BRD's their own little tool to be unproductive.

Also most people playing these things butcher the songs, just stop!
