I do too, it really hurts actual mentors who try their best to help. I usually try to ask sprouts if they need explanations or something or if they are just alt accounts and overall its tough cause the tank has already taken off at super sonic speedrun levels. I gotta level my WAR to have pace control again...

For the "your dps sucks" line, I got it once some time back during a lvling dgn. Was either Qarn or Brayflox, one of those two.
I remember stopping for a sec, trying to think and then finally said "Ok. How is it sucking?"
Person said "go figure it out scrub."
Then I said "ah so u don't know either"

Let's just say that did not end well. I find it funny that the person who was calling me out didn't know any better and was getting more heated until he left on his own. Thinking about it back then, I can't help but laugh cause I had played the game for a few months and was just getting to know how some jobs worked. In addition, I was convinced that lvling roulette was a good place to apply theory and I figured people would actually explain if I was screwing up something.

Guess some of them are just content to point out what someone else is doing bad only. If you are gonna do that, you need to follow up. Now if the person is still not receptive, that's out of your hands.

I play the game for my own enjoyment, not others. There are rude, impatient, petty and downright cocky players on my server who I wouldn't lift a finger to help if their house was on fire. With that said, I just simply don't party with them or blacklist them if it's that bad. It's one less bad apple that appears on my chatbox, which makes my day the more better.

I have been cursed out multiple times for just saying. "Hey can you please use aoe skills when there are 3 or more mobs?" I am always respectful in dungeons because I believe in treating someone as I would like to be treated. I also haven't seen harassment due to parsing, only bad play or people just being angry for no reason. It makes me wonder why questions and critique have become bannable offenses (it isn't, it is just certain players acting like it is as a way of shutting us up).

Yeah kicked for doing freeze fest in dungeons, or the WHM I had in the group yesterday did 0 assize in a fight worth 8 min. Yeah it's damn hard to click a button there. People want to play victim when they simply can't click a button? That's fine, I play victim too saying you all force me to play for you all too.

Not even that, with the constant buffs on multipliers of enmity combos, PLD can legit pull on Sword Oath and stay in it forever.

Well people in general could do by being more thick skinned towards feedback, but only if it can be perceived as such, and not just someone looking outright nasty. It's been said many times, but there's a difference between giving someone feedback (calling them out on something they can improve on), vs deliberately getting a kicker out of attempting to cause someone misery. If the player has an issue with the former they will only set themselves up to fail, sadly. There's also a time, and a place to grab a "sledgehammer" and call someone out for under-performing DPS, and during Siresong Sea, to Doma castle certainly isn't the place for it in the majority of cases.

But that being said, on a small topic of DPS, I partially blame the game, we've got a lot of emphasis in pushing DPS in the majority, if not everything, yet there's an entire community of players on the PS4 that get little/no indication of their performance in live combat

had it happen to me other day with a tank. tank pulls large group then when my summoner use's aoe that hits all the monsters and one breaks off and says its my fauld for not being next to him. Don't thing ranged magic user or dps should be standing next to the tank. Best thing to do is say nothing and keep going till instant your in is finished and over with. them Just blacklist the one that giving you problems so don't ever get them again in a party from duty finder. Happened to me in ex dungeon on normal monsters where if your close have to keep moving to dodge there aoe attacks.
