When you buy the game, you get 30 days of playtime included. After those 30 days are up, you must purchase more playtime to continue to play the game. There are two subscription packages that you can choose from:
—$12.99 USD/month is the “entry level” package for the game, 1 character per server and you may have up to 8 characters total;
—$14.99 USD/month for the “standard level” package, 8 characters per server and you may have up to 40 characters total).

You may also purchase game time by buying Game Time cards from the SE Store ($29.99 USD, gives you 60 days of playtime), or by buying Crysta and applying it to your account.
