W'mhelgo Hena @ Cedarwood (new NPC, another 7th Umbral Era secret event?)

This NPC appeared just west of Cedarwood recently (not sure when) and I cannot find the purpose of it. When you click her the cursor just activates the action bar, so there is no dialouge from start.



Does anyone know what its purpose is, or if there are more of these around?

There is a same NPC near the Halitali outpost

Are you sure it's not just the NPC for faction leves?

hmm... Ah, that NPC!
She shows up whenever you do a Faction Leve in Limsa Lominsa. It might have been someone popping the leve, being bugged and now it shows for everybody.
Lemme check if this could be true... Yup, it can be either of these Faction Leves:

Wanted: Godwin Goodgoat
Operation: Reaving Home
Operation: Supplication Denied

Normally these characters are not viewable to anyone outside the leve in action. There may be something else going on. Don't be so quick to write it off.

EDIT: Especially since someone said appeared in Halitali. There should be none that spawn there.

Still though, I'd like to hear about this Halatali NPC.

I'm assuming it's a 3rd party mod can you please say what it is.

It's in-game option through config

And yeah I thought these NPC's are only visible to those actually taking part in a faction leve

As Reinheart said it's under 'cursor type' in Configuration, I believe this is type B.

Someone then informed me that it is a Factions NPC... if you recall, Cedarwood is pretty popular with that particular group of lalafell RMTers that group together. I had no idea though that Faction NPCs are't supposed to be visible to those outside of the leve like Haru mentioned, however.

Ah yes, *ahem* "MM". I've been doing botany and mining leves here for 2 weeks now and I think she's here with the lalafell army 24/7 lol, at least whenever I am online.

I will try to pop a faction leve and see if the NPC disappears after I've done it, will report back.
