Having dragoon unlocked or will change a few lines from Estinien. It'll change them even more if you've beaten the ARR quests completely.

Astrologian will likely get some special attention whenever we finally get to Sharlayan. Machinist might, as well, when we get Isembard and deal.with hometown Garleans with our weird magitek.

Reading about how the different jobs effect MSQ slightly I had a question. Do the cut scenes change at all when you re watch them in an inn room? Like for example, I went through HW as a WHM if I later on become a Dragoon and replay a scene while playing Dragoon will that change it?

For scenes that change based on your current job, i believe the dialogue will change when replaying the scene. Most scenes are based on completion of specific quests though, and those always show the default version when replayed.

It's not really a scene change but sometimes doing job quests will help you recognize characters and actually feel connected with them. For example. During the seige of ala migho the Thaimaturge guild and the coco brothers are seen marching into battle. I got a big grin out of it since I knew who they were that would otherwise have been lost on me had I not don't those quests yet.
