You can be happy with the changes, which btw aren't even confirmed yet, everyone here was just pointing out the problems we see, if that actually happens.

And we didn't even say a word about not wanting you to play, if you took it as that, that's on you. The only person, who wasn't friendly replying was told off by others immediately. And if you can't accept that other people might have different opinions, that's also your issue, don't take it out on others.

I never have issues waiting for people watching cut scenes.I know whats in the Story dungeons and when i queue i keep that in mind.
If you've completed this part of the game and are doing it in roulette you are well aware of what it involves and the cutscenes there are important to story.I dont believe any player has the right to ruin that on others.If you have a problem dont queue for it.Plenty of people have no issues helping and waiting while people watch cutscenes.

I started in ARR and we all watched the cut scenes when doing the runs so what gives me the right to ruin the experience for a new player?

I run this roulette every day to make a little extra gil and give clears to new people. I won't be running it if we're forced to wait through every cutscene though, there are other more time efficient things I can do for money if they do that.

I'm actually willing to bet that if people do still queue for Main scenario roulette, Newbies that are watching the Cut scenes and making everyone wait are going to start to be kicked instead... So I'd be careful what you wish for.

I never mind letting someone watch the cut scenes, I've even helped some groups do runs where we wait so the newbies can participate... But expecting others to wait for someone to watch stuff in Prae and CM... well, I understand why people don't wanna do it~!

They need to first put one in.
There currently is no item level sync for Praetorium or Castrum Meridianum. It's only level sync.

I don't know if it needs to be as low as 70. If you make it too low, a lot of people won't queue for the roulette because it'll take too long, and then you'll see threads about people not being able to get a group in a reasonable amount of time.

I think they should first put an ilevel sync that's a little high (like 110 or 130) and see how the community reacts.

Personally I think all instances should have some form of ilevel sync.

I agree with this one.

One of my biggest gripes is that I regularly died in Praetorium due to most of the teams speedrunning through the mobs and ended up ganging up on me, along with any unfortunate tank/healers that couldn't reach the elevator/teleporter in time. These things really should've been locked until all the mobs are cleared like in every other dungeons in the game.

Just wanted to come back and say, thank you Square Enix! You all have completely blown me away with your incredible support and attention to the game. You have taken a pair of instances that were broken, and completely fixed them with new players in mind. No longer do I have to give every sprout I meet a tediously long explanation about why they shouldn't queue for castum and praet normally, particularly when they are not there yet. I gave the MSQ a few runs, and I actually found those runs pleasurable to play now. It was neat to see all these jaded people in the runs simultaneously complain about the cutscenes, but then acknowledge that the dungeons were coherent and playable now. Thank you for fixing it!!!!! I think my favorite part was hearing players banter about plot points and characters, which I always wish people would do more of. I plan on running the MSQ at least a few times a week from now on. Thanks again!

Tell us how you feel when you are running the main scenario roulette for hundredth time with full group of players that have already completed these before and being forced to watch all the cutscenes.
