Please make the Eorzean Symphony Code Account-Wide

Title statement. No other physical merchandise has ever had a code restricted to ONE character like this, including the new Shiva statue/emote preorder; additionally the previous item code for orchestrion rolls from Duality was also account wide. I don't see any reason why this particular code suddenly needed to have a limit on it, especially given how expensive it is. I would (and I'm sure others who have ordered) would really appreciate it if this restriction was removed. Thanks.

Edit: It's been brought up that the Yotsuyu minion in the upcoming artbook will also be character specific. I ask again to PLEASE change this - the codes are for leisure only and provide no ingame advantage. The only thing this limits is our enjoyment when playing on alts. :C

Agreed. I don’t have any interest in the Orchestrion Rolls myself, but it’s ridiculous to suddenly have a “One Character Only” restriction on DLC that has consistently been account-wide in the past.

Yeah, anything that is purchased for real money and available in a limited quantity should definitely be account bound.

Wait, the Eorzean Symphony code is only applicable to one character? That is pants on head stupid, why would have codes not be account-bound? "I have nothing of value to offer so I'm going to spout some generic 'derp, don't buy it then'" doesn't count as an answer to that question.

When did people start getting theirs? Did you order next day air? I notice the release date was set for December 31st but I thought that was delayed from the 22nd or something.

I wrote quite a long post about this here (which was ignored), but I'm also concerned that they're going to start doing this going forward. Is the Yotsuyu minion that comes with the upcoming art book also going to be single character only? Do they really expect us to buy up to 40 copies of a physical product to get it on every character we have? (and usually it would need to be the first-run as well!)

Currently the EU store says nothing about this symphony (or the artbook) being for a single character only and last night I wrote to SE Europe store to ask what's going on. I'll post again here when they write back.
