Warrior quest help? Can't get level 35 quest.

I leveled a warrior to 45 several years ago, in the 2.x days, then quit. I have just recently come back, and I went to do my level 35 quest and Curious Gorge won't give me any quests. I know I'm at the 35 quest level because obviously I have the warrior gem and Defiance, but it says I haven't learned Inner Beast. Any ideas?

As you describe it, I can think of no reason why he wouldn't be giving you quests, so the best advice I can give you is to check for quests in the Marauder guild (North end of Limsa Lominsa).

It's a bit redundant, but:

Are you sure "Embracing the Beast" quest isn't active?

IIRC they made some changes to the duty list so we can better keep track of quests, it's possible it's active but "hidden" from your duty list (which would make it appear that you haven't got the quest). Look in the journal at active/completed quests and see if anything is missing. (the Libra Eorzea app is also good for checking questlines in general)

Short of that, might need to submit a bug report.

Also make sure that when you go to talk to Gorge that you have the WAR job stone equipped and that you didn't just equip an axe and are a lvl.45 MRD and not WAR.
