Level Reset

I've thought about this too, but a bit different. What if we could restart from level 1 and work our way up again keeping all progress and stuff. It would be like the disgaea or white knight chronicles rebirth/reincarnation system. You start over from level 1, but in doing so you get added bonus points you get to allocate to your base stats. That way, if you invested a lot of time into your character, you would see a difference between a lvl 70 100 hour character and a lvl 70 500 hour character. I mean, they already have the system in it "kinda". remember the old stat bonus allocation we had?

This would turn an optional feature into something that is required for every player that is doing endgame content. I think a reset function is not bad, but there should not be any perks to reseting your level.

I'd like to see Reset Story separate from Reset level. If I could crack through the story again on a 70, soloing low level dungeons and all that, I think it would be a riot. No XP, no area locks, but you can go back to start of the story.

Maybe even keep your highest story quest unlocked, so you can proceed from that point. In any other FF game, I can restart any time I want, but in an MMO, its a much longer process to level and obtain items.

I've wanted a story reset (or new game+) where you keep your character as is but the MSQ resets for ages.

In WKC it didn't make it absolute to do reincarnations to get to do things. You could do pretty much anything given you were properly leveled and geared. Although It could be changed to better suit this world, it wasn't a requirement in that game. Doesn't have to be in this one either . Then again, you will get the people who demand you have exact points in exact stats and that sort of stuff. I do respect your opinion though.

Why not add item world and character world from Disgaea too for some crazy stat tomfoolery, Resetting the levels would be a nice option, I enjoy levelling but hate the gear grind.
