Glamours made easy - announcement

I just hope it is as easy as they make it seem. I do recall Yoshida saying how it would take an hour to explain the new glam system some time ago. Maybe between that time when the statement was made and now, thet managed to simplify to this model.

The question is, is it simple enough? Only when 4.2 will finally hit, we will know for sure.

The problem I see is that I have been through all my classes and leveled them all to 70s. Now I have to go back for each class to grab their gear to turn into a wardrobe glamor again? Including dungeon gear??

I sure as hell did not have the retainer space to hold onto them all.

I was kind of hoping that any piece of gear that we bound to our characters through spirit bind would trigger the wardrobe glamor. Because it's going to take me a while to find all those peices again..

Glamor is truly the end game.

Well obviously if they could do a real glamour log they would have done that already. But you know....data.

Still if I know correctly we can do ten plates, so ten full outfits. Pretty sure nobody needs more than 10 full outfits glamoured at any given time.

You’re correct.

It’s more like Armoire 2.0 than a glamour log and only holds 200 items.

this is useless to me. i just want different glamours for pld and drk and i ain't going to visit an inn every time i switch jobs

they need to let me apply glamours to my soulstone and have that dictate my appearance

I'm prett sure once you have the ensemble (or "plate") set, you can apply it to the job and it'll active when you switch jobs like how you can save if your hat is showing or not for each job.

I don't like this system, especially if it removes that piece of gear from being useable. I would rather just use the old system.
