    Really kinda misleading, there could be a ton of reasons for it. You're correct we dont need it. But hell we dont NEED a lot of things that are just nice additions. Sure "just because it was in XI" is a silly reason, and I would agree with you on that, but lets not put off the idea for the same reason.

    Bonuses to solo or smaller groups: healing rate, defense
    Movement speed increase
    small exp or seals
    one time reraise (outside instanced battles)
    food duration increase
    etc
    or event another type of point system to be stored up for use on adventuring exploits

    There's no real reason for experience, solo/lowman and "point" bonuses? Yoshida is already in favor of a way of adding an experience bonus, btw.

    So. Much. Yes. Im kinda surprised no one else (in my circle anywho) has thought about this yet. A GC signet is a brilliant idea. Make it like ToAU where its like 0.5~1% of exp gained on monsters = seals. 100,000 exp (roughly 1-2hrs of exping) = 1000 seals. Comparing that to 400~480/hr (400-800 in the same time it takes to exp 100k) it really wouldnt be that broken. It would still equate to about 8hrs of <task> to get a piece of gc gear but it would several thousand% less painful.

    No, just have us earn seals automatically without having to get a status if such a thing gets implemented.

    For anybody who doesn't know what a Signet is, myself included:

    Signet
    is a a beneficial Status Effect that allows the acquisition of Conquest Points and Crystals from defeated enemies that grant Experience Points. The signet effect can be obtained from any Conquest Overseer

    Saying this, that would be a great addition! Experience Points in exchange to something good, like these Conquest Points that can be converted in anything the Grand Company has in offer, like Seals (like 1'000 Conquest Points = 10 Company Seals, or higher depending on how hard Conquest Points are obtained).

    I'd like to see it, but not for company seals. There's already multiple ways of obtaining seals. If they make seals obtainable simply by having signet active then chocobo escorts, company leves and supply/provisioning become pointless.

    I'd rather see it tied to a campaign type of thing. Each company fights for control over different regions. Winners get rewarded with cheaper teleports to those regions, slight buffs when in the region, lower prices in the region, and so on.

    Will give the people who actually like competition some more interesting things to do. I really enjoyed conquest in the previous title. It made me feel more attached to my nation. <3 this idea.

    I can't agree more!

    When the grand companies were introduced I felt attached and proud of my company/nation. Sadly that didn't last too long because you aren't able to do much for your company or nation.

    Some sort of competition between nations and or companies would be really fun!
