SE, please add Kefka as the main villain. It was so cool in VI and he is far more intimidating than all the villains in XIV combined.

SE, please make the Materia system exactly like it was on VII. I mean, it worked fine there and everyone loved, we should have it here too!

SE, please add Triple Triad to this game, or a Triple Triad copy. Everyone loved Triple Triad. (and yes, I'm aware there's an actual 500 posts + thread about that)

SE, please copy FFXIII's battle system. It's so cool to send enemies flying up with my attacks!

What, create new systems or improve the current ones? No SE, please copy up a feature from a previous game!

Now, I'm not against adding features from previous games, or XI in here. I even made a post on that a few days ago.

But, seriously, this thread is a live monument to the huge nostalgia over FFXI that prevents some people to accept the fact this is an entirely new game and yes, some stuff from XI was not and will not be carried over. Deal with the fact that your <x> years playing XI will not magically come back if they start adding every single thing that "worked" on that game.

Really, all reasons I've read in this thread for adding signet literally boils down to "It worked in XI", and people pointing out they don't want it / didn't like it get posts like "You just don't want it because it was in XI and you are biased against it" or whatever.

And, for the record, This is how you properly apply XI nostalgia and concepts ,then turn em into a valid and useful complaint / feedback about this game.

See how they vastly differ from simple "HEY YOSHI, HERE'S THIS THING FROM XI, PLEASE ADD HERE KTHNXBYE" ?

Would rather have that, than the shitty mess we have right now.

I don't paticularly think bringing everything from ff11 is a good idea but there are some thing which if done right and tweaked could be cool additions.

Although this is sarcasm.... I hated that system so much. It felt so pointless to me.

I do want signet. More ways to obtain GCS is never a bad thing.
