Signet makes me feel like windy is MY hometown. If it isn't exclusive to your home town and tied to area battle then I don't see the point.

I do want it but I'm pretty sure we'd only end up with a watered down version of it.
Frankly the area battle and embassies with their stories and quests seems like it's asking for too much content especially considering this is XIV.

Anyway I hope someday they implement the full system or don't touch it at all. This game isn't exactly known for having that kind of depth anyway.
