I am still experiencing this issue at the moment. I have been dealing with this for two to three weeks now just as everyone said. Always around 5 pm up to around midnight to one am California time. This issue not only affects game play, but access to the official final fantasy website. I too live in Arizona, but in Phoenix. I thought it might be a local issue but today i am in Tucson, a city two hours away from phoenix. The same issue there as well. I think it is a safe bet any player who resides in Arizona is having this problem. I'll contact cox again and report this issue to them. But i have to admit this is frustrating. It really ruins ones day.
8:51 PM AZ time, 90006 disconnect. Dropping packets. Its just as bad as ever.
My first post I mistype the IP but here is my update

I'm getting the exact same thing. This makes this game unplayable for me. I get 90k several times a night. I'm in Phx, Az and have Cox. My boyfriend works in IT and has tested everything on our end and it's fine. He said it's something going on with ntt.net.

I reported this issue to cox again and provided all the info you guys have been posting. Told them that there are a lot of people in Arizona experiencing the same issue. They are going to open an investigation based on reports that were actually given to them. So if you haven't contacted cox to report the issue, please do.
Also Cox ISP, experiencing same issue here.

Cox ISP, this has been ongoing for WEEKS, if not MONTHS!
I am on Cox as well, and still have this issues during hours of prime congestion.
Here to report even with WTFast I've been experiencing some heavy issues with my connection tonight.
