    Does this have anything to do with the constant booting im getting from the game? I cant even move without getting kicked, I cant even click things with out getting kicked. Thats if i can even log in of course. WHATS HAPPENING!!!! Did i just waste money buying this game?!?!?!?!

    I ran this right now, 8:22pm pst. still having lag periodically.... is this fixed yet?
    My friends and I started having this problem all the time since around 4.15. We didn't have this issue before then.

    Started yesterday with a random d/c got the usual 90002 error. Exited and went back in. Almost always happens with a lag then the d/c comes afterwards. Today 2 d/ces with an error message coming from the launcher can not verify version does this about 3 times and then lets me in. Yesterday i was outside a dungeon this time inside both times. I plan on resetting my router and running trace route but i don't think it will help. It doesn't appear to be an isp issue.

    having same issue on diabolos server, but its been happening for 3 days now. Ive had pc checked at shops, techs come to my house. Something is going on thats unfixable for me. FIX YOUR SHIT SE!!!

    I as well as many other users have been experiencing this constant issue ever since the datacenter move before expansion. There was an entire thread dedicated to this and had an overwhelmingly amount of posts regarding the connection and gameplay problems that were had. We never heard anything about this and then Stormblood dropped. The connection problem was still never resolved and alot of people I know just quit the game,When the omega raids came out and they couldn't even properly play the game enough my own raid team disbanded because no one could go into v4s without significant performance issues. I'm confused as to what data you are collecting? All the information you need has been spread across numerous posts starting with the datacenter move and the issue is always the same the routing with NTT is garbage and needs to be addressed. We pay a sub into to this game because we love it and want to see it continue to grow but unfortunately people are not going to continue to support an unplayable game. As mentioned alot of people I used to play with have literally quit the game because of thier connection issues and the lack of response from SE on it.

    ive been having lag spikes since December here on moogle used to get disconnected with error codes 9001's but that not happened for a few weeks now. i tried the troubleshooting steps sqeenix provided but none of it worked even my isp provider said everything was fine on their end so theres nothing else for me to do. my isp provider is virgin media btw and i play on a wireless connection was 0 problems from a real reborn up till december 2017 n suddenly lag spikes ._.

    Simply unplayable. Terrible terrible packet loss right now at 9:00pm CST. This needs to get fixed soon. You are going to lose a lot of customers.

    Sadly running into the same issues here. Comcast customer who experiences major connection issues to the FFXIV servers between 7 PM EST and 11 PM EST. Connections to all other gaming services and networks is seeing 10-20 ms ping. With FFXIV however...



    I waited til after prime time and still ran into issues during gameplay. It seems with the upcoming patch launch, more players are returning so I imagine things will worsen for me when everyone returns for 4.2's launch.

    Several thousand pings here, higher than 1% packet loss on the NTT nodes is really terrible for such a high volume of pings. It only takes one lost packet for your input to register late enough to matter and mess up punishing mechanics in harder encounters.


    (By the way, tip for those posting results: a basic Trace in CMD isn't super helpful to see packet loss trend over a long period of time. Grab WinMTR and let it run for 15-60 minutes.)

    I've been using Mudfish to my experience tolerable (in theory it shouldn't really affect the connection quality, but it does quite a bit). That seems like an expense I shouldn't need to be covering.

    I didn't have to use Mudfish until mid-November or so; that's when my problems started. Any ideas of what changed at that time? Game has been nearly unplayable without Mudfish since then.
