Are we giving SE the silent treatment today? Everyone is asking for some sort of changes to PvP as the current status is horrible but SE is being silent. I just had to chime in as there has been no new post or response since yesterday :O

I'd say it was just a slow day, plus patchitis is setting in pretty hard right now.

We know changes are coming to Rival Wings, if not PvP overall, but rather than tell us ahead of time (and proffer discussion on the topic) we all get to wait for the live letter, which will precede the patch by perhaps a week. For all that, we may as well be surprised. . . We know how well that went last time, right?

I think the Live Letter won't be too much in the way of substance. The real meat and potatoes is in the notes after the server goes down.

They've said changes are coming. Not much more to say until we know what they are.

We'll get a few more specifics on things, maybe a first look at some new gear, Yoshi P might - MIGHT - tease the Jade Stoa (Byakko trial), and unless it pops up before the live letter, we ought to get the patch trailer by then.

Changes..... for a community that is not very hopeful especially when no one asked for 4.0 changes and the US PvP community was blindsided. So in the absence of information people make shit up.

They've said they are planning adjustments to the generator and map balance between sides, and other tweaks besides.
They've hinted that changes to healers will probably be minor, if anything at all happens (but that's still up in the air).

Soon they will be providing more details. Presumably after they've had a chance to test specifics. It's only a week or two out now, isn't it? So more info is coming.
