R36 Leatherworker Quest "Head of the Class" bugged

The quest log reads to hand in five Toadskin Jackets to Maddeline. The quest log says you need the following materials for the synthesis: Steel Rivets, Steel Ingot, and 2 Toad Leathers. The actual synthesis requires 1 Diremite Sinew, 1 Aldgoat Leather, and 2 Toadskin Leathers. Upon speaking with the NPC with or without the jackets the game freezes.

Yes, that's correct. There is an error in the quest: the materials are correct for creating 5 TOADSKIN ARMGUARDS, no toadskin jackets. If you go to the NPC with jackets, the game freezes; so instead just make 5 toadskin armguards and you can finish the quest. Have fun!

I think there are a few things that the quest can ask for. Mine asked for jackets, gave the synth recipe of jackets, and once I made the jackets, it all worked ok.

Fanzeron is correct in stating that, since your recipe is for armguards, you need to make 5 armguards in order to proceed.
