Just done an ixion fate and got no rewards due to not being in a party(at least i believe this to be the reason) and if that is indeed the case i think thats absolute crap.

So back to my title. Why?
I was there dpsing the entire time, didnt die, why the hell are we FORCED to join parties...

doesnt matter, people should be able to play the way they want to at the time. There is NO reason whatsoever that is good enough to lock people out of loot they earned just because they didnt join a party.

Literally never played another mmo that has done it before, so this needs to be changed

To be fair, this is a world boss. It's meant for several parties worth of players to fight, not individuals. I have a couple questions - how long were you a part of the fight? How much damage did you actually do to it?

Oh the good old days back on the WoW PvP server waging war on the horde for the kill rights on the world bosses... Yes, we had to aggressively negotiate at times which raid was going to get the tag in, yes WoW is an mmo. No, this doesn't need to be changed.

So.....let me get this straight. You are upset that you have to GROUP up with others in a MMORPG to take down a WORLD BOSS? There is no one to blame but yourself in this scenario and No, they don't need to change it because it's working as intended. Next.

if you had read my original post it stated i was there the entire time, i didnt do any less dps than i have done before when i was in a party, as a matter of fact i have afked in a party after hitting it ONCE, yet i was rewarded, how is it fair to now, not get anything?

I did read your original post. I just needed clarification. As for your answer, I know a few reports were submitted a while back because there had been some players who weren't rewarded even though they were actively participating the entire time. Maybe try submitting a bug report. I'll look online for some answers too...it does seem odd. What was your rating? Bronze, silver, or gold?
