[Suggestion] Ala Mhigan Earrings on the MogStation

Hello everyone, i recently came back to FF14 after a 2 years break due to personal issues happening on my side. But now that i have more free time, i decided to come back.

A few days ago, it come to my attention that the item "Ala Mhigan Earrings"(after questioning the player who had it equip), told me that it was a pre-order bonus from Stormblood.

The impact of that specific item, is astronomous, due to the exp bonus(which i believe is 30% up to level 50 for every class/jobs).(which would help new players and retur

I can understand that it feel like a prestige and glamour item, for those who received it.

But for those who, sadly missed the chance to acquire that unique earrings and for the new/returning player, it would be an option to acquire this item.

Even if the chance of this idea being implemented are slim to none, it cost nothing to suggest this idea none the less.

Thought... i can see the playerbase disagree to this suggestion, and for good reason.

You know, I get that the bonus would be nice, but I just started an alt, and I'm leveling WAY past my place in the MSQ.....The earrings are almost a non issue at t his point.

But there are some outfits on mogstation that offer a bonus as well, not up to 50, but it works.

The fact remain, that it utility for those who came back, or for new players(even for those who took the full utility of the free trial) is big.

There is no point to have the earring for MSG, i give you that. But we talk about not 1 class(if you only level 1 class during the whole MSG quest chain) but 15 classes and 11 jobs!

It wouldn't hurt Square Enix to put this item on the store. Everyone would win. An extra layer of cash for SE, and an extra layer of experience/time for the player.

They boosted XP shortly before Stormblood hit so its extremely easy, even on second classes and beyond to level. While it wouldn't hurt, I don't see it happening yet. It seems like most things are about a year before they are put on Mogstation, so there is still some time that they may put it on there. I've leveled multiple classes even before the XP boosts they did, to 50 is the easy part its the road to 60 and 70 thats the hard part! Good Luck leveling!

Well, your cheering words partially erased the sad mood, that i had previously.

I honestly DIDN'T KNOW, that they boosted XP before Stormblood. I left in July 2015, but the feelings and the memories grip me back into the game.

(But deep inside me, i hope they would do this, soon or later(Or i found a unused code). But if it's really easy to level from 1-50, then i shouldn't complain or ask this suggestion in the first place.)

No worries! But I think you'll find that road from 1-50 much easier than before. 60-70 will still take you quite a bit, but thats newer content and even so, the boost they gave the leveling roulette you'll find is the best boost in general imo. It compensates for level of dungeon so say you get stuck in sastasha, you will get significantly more xp than a higher leveled dungeon (which is balanced from mob xp) When leveling 1-60 honestly, just a leveling roulette, a trial roulette and one at level dungeon will get you at least a level or close to it a day depending on your level. If youre at level 15 you may gain even more levels because of the boost. You can post leveling dungeon parties in party finder as well to find other people leveling which really helps the level grind as well. I came across a few of those over the weekend. They did really try to make it easier for new and returning players. If you ever need help too you can let me know! I know we're not on the same server, but we're in the same Data Center which means we can do a cross world party if you ever need help!
